Fast Facts About Job Stress

  • The U.S. National Institute for Occupation Safety and Health reports stress related disorders are quickly becoming the most prevalent reason for worker disability.

  • Recent research shows that at least 40% of employee turnover in the United States is due to on-the-job stress. Xerox estimates that it costs between 1 to 1.5 million dollars to replace a top executive, and between 2 to 13 thousand dollars to replace other workers.
