Mental Health Day, 10 October 2007
PRADET
TIMOR LESTE
We held a half day seminar organised by
Pradet and the other partners in the mental health network to celebrate
the day. The Pradet Director, Mira Martins da Silva, was one of the key
speakers at the seminar along with the Vice Minister for health,
Madalena Hanjan, and Teofilo Tilman, the head of the government mental
health programme. Some of our clients also attended.
On the Friday following there was a TV
talk show on the subject of mental health where viewers could phone in
and ask questions. Mira was one of the 3 person panel along with the
aforementioned Teofilo Tilman and also one of Pradet’s recuperated
clients, Filomena.
Please find attached a couple of photos
from the day.
