Another great
WMHDAY campaign has come to pass and as always many advocates
took their time, energy and resources to put on events around
WMHDAY/October 10. We continue to be humbled by the remarkable
events we are hearing about. Several have done what they could
with no help and no resources and others have been able to
secure special funding just for WMHDAY events, creating local,
state, national and regional events. Your reports and web
mentions show a wonderful variety of awareness events that
continue to keep mental health on the minds of our Leaders and
on the international health agenda. Change will happen, slowly
but firmly, for the better as long as we continue to keep mental
health in the spotlight.
The WFMH would like to acknowledge everyone who held an event,
who wrote an article, who mentioned WMHDAY on a webpage and all
of those who proudly and publicly rallied together for unity,
visibility, rights and recovery!
